Pollen and Eye Problems

A lot of pets are having eye problems associated with all the pollen out there. We have seen a number of kittys and dogs the last couple of weeks develop ulcers from rubbing at their eyes. If your pet starts rubbing at his or her eyes a lot or starts squinting and keeping one of their eyes closed in the bright sunlight then bring them in and let us check them out before they develop a full blown ulcer. In the meantime you can help by simply rinsing the eyes with saline solution daily to keep some of the pollen out. Good luck!
